The cuffs are normal, metal handcuffs. They come with two keys but also have a switch on them that can be used (not fun if your partner realizes this) for safety, I suppose. The faux fur portion can slide off or get jammed where the cuff clicks in. Otherwise, it's exactly what you'd expect from lower-end padded handcuffs.
