If masturbation forms part of your daily routine (and we think it should!), make your orgasms twice as powerful by introducing anal sex into your playtime and get a double-header of anal and clit action for the ultimate female orgasm.
Maybe you've never thought about it properly, or maybe you have but you always come too soon to get round to it, but anal toys can seriously spice up run-of-the-mill masturbation for improved female orgasms.
If you're bored of using your fingers for so-so orgasms and crave some anal adoration, anal sex toys could be just the erotic boost your masturbation technique needs.
With so many sex toys available to do the work for you, labouring over your orgasm is a thing of the past. In much the same way, why limit your masturbation experience to your clit getting all the attention while your anus misses out?
Masturbating during anal sex is one of the easiest and most provocative things you can do to turn yourself or your partner on. After all, there's nothing more erotic than letting your partner watch you masturbate or letting them masturbate you. So imagine how fast you can get your rocks off by introducing anal sex as well!
All you need to do is decide whether you want just one toy to focus on your anus, or whether you want some action for your clit too. If you're going to let your fingers take care of your clit, a butt plug would be ideal for occupying your anus, while a dildo or anal vibe would provide stimulation and penetration.
Get to grips with anal play, and your masturbation will never be the same again!
How do you find the right one for you? Understandably, this can feel a little overwhelming but if you follow these guidelines, it should make things much easier.
Go smaller than you think: It's a hard and fast rule among dildo sellers that our eyes are often bigger than our orifices. So, when you think you've found the perfect size for you, think about going one size down. If you're looking for a dildo that is approximately the same size as your partner, try picking one out that is about 75% the size of your partner. Dildos feel bigger inside the body than penises do so if you go a bit smaller, it will feel just about right.
Think about texture: Dildos range in texture from incredibly smooth to ridged to bumpy to veiny. What you get depends on what feels good inside your body and what you want to use it for. Some of the larger bumped dildos can work well for G-spotting whereas I wouldn't recommend anything but the smoothest dildos for anal play unless you know you like the texture.
Material: Silicone. Just get silicone. There are other dildos made out of sub-standard materials like jelly rubber and cyberskin but silicone is incredibly safe and long lasting, easy to clean (sterilize!) and easy to use. You might pay a bit more but you're getting so much more for your money. Plus, silicone can vibrate.
Vibration: Many silicone dildos now come with the option of vibration. There's a little removable vibrator tucked into a space at the bottom of the toy. This is great because in almost any toy, the thing that will break is the battery compartment. If that happens here, you just get a new vibrator and you keep the dildo. It also means that you can take the vibrator out to clean the dildo or use the vibrator somewhere else on your body!
Once you've taken these things into consideration, it's just a matter of finding the right dildo for you.
Sex toys have become so popular that companies have started using a variety of materials to satisfy its expanding clientele. There is no right or wrong as far as what material toys are made of...it is all a matter of personal taste. The best way to find the best material for you is to buy an inexpensive toy made from each of the materials and give them a try. Then you can move on to bigger and better things. Here is a breakdown of the most popular materials:
CyberSkin - This material is exceedingly realistic and warms during use. These are normally the priciest toys and they require more maintenance to keep them in great condition, but definitely worth the money. Water based lubrication is best used on CyberSkin toys. Petroleum based and silicone based lubes will ruin CyberSkin toys easily.
Jelly and Vibrating Jelly - This material is like a jelly/gummy material and have a slight squishy feel. These toys are among the cheapest available, but you have to be prepared for the plastic beach ball smell (a major turnoff for some people). These toys should always be used with a condom because it is almost impossible to properly clean them by using the normal soap and water or soaking in boiling water methods. You also need to replace these toys every four to six months because of the cleaning issue.
Rubber - Not to be confused with jelly versions, rubber toys are made from a rubbery, slightly stiff material. These can not be used by people who have the latex rubber allergy. This is my least favorite type of toy because they wear out very fast and feel totally unrealistic.
Silicone - This is non-porous and very smooth material, and these toys give you the best bang for your buck (no pun intended). Silicone toys are on the more expensive end of the sex toy price range, but they don't normally cause irritation, allergies and feel pretty real (but not as real as the CyberSkin models). They are also easy to clean (you can even run the non-battery operated toys through the dishwasher cycle). Silicone toys should not be used with silicone based lubrication.
So there you have it. I hope this gives you a basis for choosing your next sex toy. Whichever type you choose, make sure you take proper care of it and keep it sanitary.
Vibrators often allow people to achieve orgasm rapidly and with relative ease as compared to other methods. In addition, vibrators are reported to provide stronger orgasms than those produced by manual stimulation alone. They are often recommended by sex therapists for women who have difficulty reaching orgasm by other means. Couples also use them sometimes as an enhancement to the pleasure of one or both partners.
If you ask me, there is nothing wrong with using a vibrator. It is a completely healthy and way to explore your sexuality. It spices up a long term sexual relationship if sex has become routine. It also leads to our sexual self-discovery because you can start exploring yourself, your sensations and reactions in a relatively safe environment. Most of all, we can use it because its pleasurable. Pleasure, however you define it, is pretty close to a universal desire.
